Torque THPM Bent Axis Piston Motor-SAE

A hydraulic motor with a 40° bend in its axis is called a bent axis motor. Compared to an in-line motor of the same displacement, it has a greater working torque and speed range.
Because of their small size and light weight, bent axis piston pumps are frequently utilized in aeronautical applications.
The displacement volume of a bent axis design is contingent upon the swivel angle. The pistons inside the cylinder bores move when the shaft rotates.
